I visited whip london for a cut and blow dry on the 28th March, whilst I couldn’t fault the cut and my general experience of the salon, I’m left reall...y disappointed with their service. At the end of my appointment the stylist, Jas, told me about two huge dye stains on the back of my jumper from where the sink has not been cleaned properly before she used it. Jas told me as I was paying and I was mindful it was a mistake so just asked for advice on how to remove the stains, paid full price and left. Jas told me to email the salon if the stains couldn’t be removed. The stains did not come out at all despite several efforts and I emailed as per her recommendation. I’ve received nothing back and feel like a bit of an idiot for being polite and paying full price. I wouldn’t expect for the price of the jumper to be reimbursed - but at least an acknowledgment of the damage in response to my email would have been courteous. I appreciate that mistakes happen - but it is the lack of response and engagement that is really poor in my opinion. Really disheartening! Definitely wouldn’t recommend or visit again. Show more

I recently visited WhiP for a routine trim to maintain the health and length of my hair, but unfortunately, the experience left me deeply dissatisfied... and upset. From the outset, I made it clear to the hairdresser that preserving the length of my hair was my top priority. I emphasised that I had invested significant time and effort into nurturing my hair to its current length, and I expected only a trim to remove split ends. The hairdresser assured me that they understood my concerns and would only trim the tips. To my surprise, during the cutting process, it became apparent that the hairdresser had disregarded my wishes entirely. What was once hair cascading down to my lower back now barely grazes my shoulder blades. This drastic reduction in length was not only shocking but completely contrary to what I had requested at the beginning of the consultation. Adding insult to injury, the haircut itself was lackluster and uninspired, leaving me with a result that I would never have chosen for myself. Moreover, the hairdresser's refusal to straighten my hair citing time constraints and uncertainty about pricing, was unprofessional and unwelcoming. What compounded my disappointment even further was the hairdresser's apparent lack of expertise in handling curly hair. I found myself having to guide them through the styling process, which left me feeling frustrated and underserved. Overall, my experience at WhiP was nothing short of a letdown. The lack of communication, disregard for my preferences, and subpar service have left me feeling disheartened and reluctant to return. I would caution others seeking professional haircare to proceed with caution when considering this establishment, especially if you have curly hair. Show more
