Pedicure

Accepted the deposit but when we got to the shop they could only offer half a job as they had another client coming in. Was told to book pedicure + a...nd this included varnish and full pedicure when we got to the shop we were told it only included cuticle work. And that we would have to pay for a deluxe (we we were originally told was the pedicure +) which isint actually in this site it’s called luxury such a mix up and then very little help. Refused to refund us the money or offer alternative. Such a shame because we both use this shop a lot but won’t be returning now again, and will be telling other friends of the crap service. Had booked a pedicure via booksy which we booked a pedicure. There were 2 options on the site one for "pedicure" £25.00+ the other was "luxury pedicur...e" £50.00. On their own site they advertise a pedicure called "deluxe pedicure" £40.00. I had my nails done recently there and she explained the duluxe. This is what intended on booking. There was no option there for a deluxe pedi. However an express pedi is £25.00. So assumed the + sign after the pedicure ment upgrades such as deluxe. We paid a deposit plus tip online before arrival. On arrival the lady explained we only booked express and that she has another client coming so thats all she could fit us in for which is just nails. I explained there was no option for deluxe. Then she continued to say that the luxury option is the deluxe just different names. I asked her how much a pedicure was and she said 25.00 so then i asked what the plus sign is for if its 25.00 to see if she understood where we were coming from. She said it was for extras. Also got informed it was cash only today in whixh we wouldnt have even been able to withdraw cash. We asked for a refund and we got told no because we havent given 24hours notice. Again explained to them that they were the ones who cant provide the service. So on their site and leaflets it says deluxe pedicure 40 pounds, express pedicure 25 pounds. So i assumed what they have adverties on this app a luxury pedicre being 50 pounds was something else. Also on their site they state an express pedicure is 25 pounds. No extra so hence why we thought the plus sign was for deluxe, especially that there is no description on their site and this and all prices are different. Also they ask to tip 1st which i did tip a little. We havs been told we will be contacted to see if we can have a refund for something we havent had done. However we managed to find a salon just down the road called the beauty loughe who are cheaper and weve actualy had the best pedicure weve ever had. Were done money for today but will most definitely be coming to the new place in future as it worked in our favour. This main app was booked an hour before we attended and no information of cash only was messaged to us so we wouldnt have been able to even pay fof express due to this, would we have had a refund for this also?
