Hi I had a 20 minute normal polish manicure with Resh on Friday the 15th May it chipped on the very next day. My nails were also cut too short to what... I wanted. The polish didn’t even last until Sunday the 17th May when I had to go somewhere. The work is not up to standard, and she doesn’t have the right technique and is not very experienced. If a normal polish doesn’t last up to 7 days then at least it should last 5 days. In Cyprus when I’m on holiday I get it done and it lasts 7 days. When Sara done my nails, it lasted 5 days or so. I might have to look for another beautician as I am reluctant to use their service again, unless Sara does my nails. So sorry I had to give this review but that’s how I feel.

When I attended the appointment, I discovered the business was no longer operating as Silanel Beauty and had in fact changed ownership and name to “Re...sh Beauty”. This information had not been updated on the booking system, and at no point prior to my appointment was I informed that the salon was under different management. In addition to this, the service I received was significantly below the standard I expected based on previous experiences at Silanel Beauty. The therapist who carried out the treatment appeared inexperienced and lacked confidence in basic aspects of the pedicure. Although she was polite, the quality of the treatment was poor. I also found it uncomfortable that members of staff were speaking to each other in another language throughout parts of the appointment while I was receiving the treatment, which made the experience feel unwelcoming.

Hello, I know Jenny is on maternity leave but I hope she reads this. I had been coming for gel manicure since 2022 to Silanel in Palmers Green, Jenny ...used to do my nails now since Jay was hired i’ve been going to her. I’ve always been happy and pleased with any session I have been to there. Last week I had the worst nails I have ever done in my life. First my appointment was cancelled and changed last minute, re-booked before even speaking with me if that suits me considering that I have work and a child and I can’t change my appointments just like this. The manager had to call me before deciding to rebook the appointment on her own when it suited the business. She decided to call me next day because I complained. The right thing to do was, wait for the morning call me explain why the appointment was canceled and offer a time and date BEFORE taking actions yourself. Unprofessional. Anyway, I changed the appointment again to what suited me better. I went to my appointment and Jay with whom I had booked my appointment as usual, she wasn’t there. There was a girl that I hadn’t met at all in the years I have been going there, assuming it’s the maternity covers friend as they were chatting in their own language and she wasn’t aware where was anything in the place. I decided not to be biased that she is new and maybe she was going to do a good job! I was wrong, I corrected her way of work 4 times as she was doing my nails, I had two broken nails to which I wanted to repair and extend them to match the rest, she didn’t seem to know what to do - not only that but considering I am there for gel extension she started to put tips without asking first. The nails came both crooked and not to mention broke on the very next day as done absolutely worst. Each nail on my hand - different length. Wobbly and wavy all of them, I feel shame of these nails on my hands. My baby was crying and waiting for me with my parents and I didn’t want to proceed to wait even longer for another new set from her considering I saw she didn’t know how to do the job. I paid quietly and politely and left. But I will not be returning. I feel sorry for Jenny as she is loosing loyal customers because of the cover she has hired while she is on maternity leave.

Absolutely the worst service I ever had! I was a client of this place but since changed the ownership the service has been very bad, unbelievable I wa...s there for my appointment and the owner tried to do my nails unfortunately she wasn’t able to do extension and worked for two hours just to prepare the nails and wait for her assistant to finish with another client to finish mine so at the end she had to do the whole thing again because the shape wasn’t even right and the owner had the courage to charge me £60 £ 5 pounds per each replacement. I will never back again.

When the appointment was booked, it was scheduled as a gel infill service. Nail extensions require significantly more time than an infill, and they need to be booked correctly in advance, especially for end-of-day appointments, to ensure we can allocate enough time to complete the service comfortably and without rushing. During your appointment, it became clear that more than three nails required extensions rather than a standard infill. As per our pricing policy, we charge £5 per nail replacement for up to three nails. When more than three nails require extensions, this is considered a different service and charged accordingly. However, we still tried to accommodate you and complete the service to the best of our ability despite the time constraints. The £60 charged reflected the time spent carrying out the service and correcting the shape to ensure a safe and professional finish. All of our pricing is applied consistently to every client. We genuinely regret that you left feeling dissatisfied. We always aim to be fair and transparent, and we would have appreciated the opportunity to clarify everything with you during your visit.
