I paid Dean £30 in cash for the first month of an unlimited trims subscription, which was agreed to start after he returned from his wedding leave. De...spite him offering to take payment later, I paid upfront. The agreement was that going forward, the cost would be £40 with a hard copy contract. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to fully use the service, as it only began after his return from leave—around the same time I also returned from being away. In April 2025, I clearly informed Dean that I wouldn’t be continuing with the subscription or signing a contract, as I’m based in Manchester and no longer visit Huddersfield regularly. I explained that it made more sense for me to stick with my previous barber, who has multiple locations across Manchester and Huddersfield gym if I come train there. Where they also have a branch . I couldn’t be more honest . I was transparent and respectful in my communication. However, when I tried to reach out again to book appointments while my subscription was still active, I was ignored twice and then blocked from messaging him. This kind of behavior is incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I expect my money to be refunded in due course, as I take these matters seriously. I also run several small businesses and understand the importance of professionalism and customer service. I have full written proof of all communication and am happy to provide details if necessary.
