Very disappointed when I got my hair cut here, been coming here for few years and to have a barber ask if my looks how it normally gets done isn’t the... most convincing, I’ve since the 1st of feb gone to another barbers to have my hair fix as it wasn’t cut well, definitely want a refund. Show more

Absolutely disgraceful. I’ve been to many Barbers over the years and this was the worst experience ever. Never had anything like this happen before. ... Being new to the area, tried this place out a few times and the Barber who was half decent then left the shop to go to another. Booked with ‘Dunny’ and although his demeanour was quite odd, I didn’t think much of it the first time. The haircut was reasonable. Went back the following week on 7/2/25. He was slouched over in a chair, completely out of it. He was in his coat and acting very bizarrely. I sat in the Barber chair, and he was unsteady on his feet. He half put the gown on me and then went on his phone, swaying on the spot and ignoring me for a number of minutes. I asked him if he was ok, and his speech was very obviously slurred and he didn’t make any sense. The next customer walked in early and we exchanged looks as we were both perplexed at the ‘Barber’s’ behaviour. I could not smell alcohol, so can only assume that he had been taking other substances, and got myself out the chair as I did not feel safe or comfortable in his presence. Both I and the other customer spoke to him, and tried to make sure he was ok, but he just made excuses ranging from a bad back to bereavements etc. I work in Healthcare, and am familiar with intoxicated people who have been misusing substances. I would never expect it from a Barber, and with pre-booked appointments. Being compassionate, I tried to make sure he was alright, but as he was not making any sense and just stumbling about the place, both I and the other customer decided to leave - both in shock by this guy’s behaviour and blatant disrespect. Please avoid: this place is a disgrace and should not be operating. Thankfully there are many other Barbers in Altrincham. I would not wish for someone to take their child there and be subject to such a Drug user: extremely dangerous with scissors and blades etc. Glad I escaped this dodgy place. Show more
