      Start with a hot Towel to soften the skin Ten minute facial with steamer whilst using a facial scrub Facial softener will be applied to the beard or skin Facial massage to help with the skin elasticity with a facial scrub to unblock the pores and blackheads (facial steamer will be running during this element for 5 minutes with the facial scrub on the face) The skin will be cleansed and refreshed Steamer will then be applied for 5 further minutes to fully cleanse the skin with aromatic oils Once cleansed, a facial massage will take place Skin will be moisturised After shave will then be applied to the skin A hot towel will then be applied with the after shave scent to complete the full relaxation As above – with a peel off pore penetrating face mask (add £4 for full face or £3 for T-Zone)

Today was Ellis's 2nd vist with Martin today went so well with Ellis remembered Martin and walked in jumped straight on the Barbers seat. Was alittle ...unsure on the Clippers but again Martin made him feel at ease and even got the Hairdryer out this time which was good progress and he held it, he always hated the noise but today he was loving it. Originally booked a Normal 10mins session with martin but was advised by Sarah @the hairybear (maidstone) to Book an Additional needs session which is... (30mins) with Martin today at 6.30am for my little boy who 5 years old... Ellis who has mild form of Autism (not diagnosed yet) , the last time we visted he had a complete over sensory episode last time we went and left without gettting a his haircut and havent been back or able to cut his hair properly since. Bar a few dodgy home cuts Hes been asking about the Hairy Bear recently and having his hair cut and showed him photos of Martin cutting his hair when he was little. Which is a good sign its more of a first trial session to see if he would be ok. Martin was absolutely awesome with him and explained what he was going to do let him touch the clippers and hold the brushes and work out a 1,2,3 method to make the haircut go easier and help him to relax. And worked out what he did and didnt like, Was a very joyful moment for us as his haircut looked absolutely amazing. Cant thank you enough Martin and advise from Sarah at The Hairy Bear thank will be back for the next time for sure for. Ellis had an really engaging experience. Show more
