These Bespoke Soundbaths will take place in Exmouth at the Jacqui Doyle Yoga Studio on Albion Street. There will be one taking place every first Tuesday of the month from 7.15pm and it will cost £15 per person per session. During the Soundbath you will be lying down on a yoga mat. It is best to wear comfy & warm clothes and you might want to bring a blanket, cushion or eye mask and water with you. For this Soundbath you will be immersed in the tones of Crystal Bowls & Himalayan Bowls. They are tuned to different notes in a range of sizes and are donged or sung as single notes and or in harmony. A Soundbath not only reduces stress and anxiety by inducing a state of relaxation, but it also has physiological benefits. These can include a reduction in pain, better sleep, removal of toxins, and strengthening of the immune system. During the Soundbath, the brainwave state is altered from normal waking state (beta) to relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even restorative state (delta). As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease. Sound Therapy is not recommended if you experience epilepsy or other types of seizures, or if you have a sound sensitive condition such as Labyrinthitis or Meniere’s Disease.
