My son is autistic and absolutely hates getting his haircut he is really sensitive to it and although he still hates it no matter where I bring him I ...wouldn’t go anywhere else as Amanda is never judgemental and persists in getting the job done. My son’s first haircut couldn’t have gone any better! What a wonderful, beautiful space. Amanda is so patient, kind and calm. My son is 3 years old an...d autistic and hates anyone at his head but Amanda managed to give him a beautiful tight cut and by the end, he didn’t want to leave. He’s been bouncing around all day since delighted to have his hair short and out of his face. We’re so happy! Show more

I can't give enough praise to Amanda for our experience today. My son was not in a good mood going in for his haircut today and didn't want to get it... done but Amanda's patience and understanding and calm approach, talking to him the whole time and explaining everything that was going to happen meant that he relaxed totally, had a great haircut and left laughing and smiling. 10/10 We will be back for sure. Can not recommend Amanda and this space enough. First time taking my son for a haircut that didnt end with both of us crying. She took the time to all...ow him to scream and cry and then to allow him to regulate himself again in the lovely calm room. Having that space to allow him to simply be who he is, no judgement and not feeling like you're being looked at was just what we needed. First time leaving the barbers with a happy boy!
