I am very dissatisfied with my booking experience. The nail technician did a great job, but the booking process was a complete mess. I booked my nail...s and toes one month in advance. Then, for some reason, five days before my appointment, the appointment time was changed. When I checked what had happened, I found out that while changing the time, they had deleted my toe appointment. The booking staff told me they would try to squeeze it in, which made me believe everything would be sorted. On the day of my appointment, I was 7 minutes late, which I apologised for. To help make up the time, I agreed not to get French tips on my nails so there would still be enough time for my toes. Also, even though I was late, I still had to wait for my nail technician to become available. After my nails were finished, I was told they no longer had time to do my toes, even though I had booked both services ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE. I had been a loyal Sandy Nails client for a long time before taking a year-long break. I decided to come back because they had always done a great job. Unfortunately, after this experience, just a couple of days before my trip, I definitely can’t rely on them anymore. The booking system and appointment management need significant improvement to prevent situations like this from happening to other customers.

This is my second time at Sandy Nails. Although my first experience at the salon, with the (different) nail technician at the time, was brilliant, I w...as disappointed with my second appointment (Take off Biab + New Biab). All cuticles were cut and filed (machine) too far in, which, with the acetone/alcohol she used, stung all day and left the skin at the base of the nail raw. Even though she cleaned them, the skin that was nicked drew blood afterwards. This happened with the other nail technician before; she apologised when it happened. With this technician, she didn't say anything. Although the Biab was done nicely, one nail remained bulky compared to its partner on the other hand and does not go down to the base of the nail. The pictures attached were taken a day later.
