What are Powder Brows? Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. When you get powdered brows, it’s recommended to return for a touch-up procedure 6-8 weeks after the original procedure. After that, the brows should last between one and three years. * Healing of Powder Brows The full healing process will take up to 4 weeks. Please do not expect your brows tattoos to heal perfectly after the first session, it is a process that takes time. It is important to be patient as during the 10 day healing process your bows will change and appear different day to day. Immediately after your procedure, your brows will appear darker and more defined which could last up to two weeks. Days four-five you make experience flaking or appearance of dryness. Please do not pick at your brows, but rather let this fall off naturally. If these flakes get picked off this could result in patchy brows or lead to scarring. Once the flaking has come off, your brows may appear faint in color due to the fresh layer of skin healing over the implanted pigment. Color will continue to change daily until the 4-week healing process is complete. * TIPS ON WHAT TO AVOID DURING THE HEALING PROCESS: * Do not expose brows to sun during the healing process * Do not run direct water on your brow tattoo. We want to avoid flushing out any pigment * Do not sweat excessively, use saunas, pools, or steam rooms for 10 days. The salt in your sweat may fade your brows or alter the color * pigment, this is especially important in the first few days after your appointment.  * Do not use Vaseline on your tattoo * Do not use any makeup, creams, or exfoliants (including retinol acids, AHA’s) for 10 days * Avoid getting massages, facials, or any skin treatments (light or laser therapy) as this may alter the color of the pigment.

About 6 months after beginning of the implantation, the threads will degradate through hydrolysis. After this, synthetic absorbable thread‐induced collagen synthesis will last about 6 to 12 months. Procedure is done under anesthetic cream which makes it almost painless.
