Shay could be good at doing hair BUT I wouldn't have a clue. I scheduled what would be my first appointment and sent Shay my deposit, only for her to ...reschedule due to her taking walk in clients instead of my booked appointment. We rescheduled for the next morning which was a Sunday, only for Shay to cancel on me because she was so called sick in the hospital. Shay has refused to send me my deposit back knowing good and well I will never book with her again. Definitely a scam. My appt was 2/10 and then 2/11. It's been a few wks. It wasn't "last minute" and your books were wide open and available. Also, you confirmed it. Just be careful when attempting someone new, folks. Show more

Sorry you feel this way. She booked with me last minute. I tried to accommodate her. My deposit is non refundable . It can be used for a new appointment . I also offered a discount for the inconvenience. I had many bookings and walk ins that day. I became ill due to a client that came in sick. I reached out to re service her she never responded. Mind you she’s writing this review a month later just to try and bring me down. I will still continue to be successful and go above and beyond for my clients.

She also was so helpful and... reassuring, this was my first time doing a quick weave, and with having natural 4c hair, I was nervous when trying to find a new hairstylist, but trust me, you are in great hands with Shay!
