I recently moved to the area and was in a dire need to find a new waxing person. I read all the reviews on here and everyone raved about Vilma so I bo...oked with her. She wasn't super chatty which was nice. During our appointment, I couldn't really relax because the temperature of the wax was way too hot! I even told her and she just kept going. I felt rushed too because she didn't get all the places cleaned. I was literally done in 15 minutes when I had four services booked. Probably will not return again. The search continues... Show more

Vilma is the deal. I haven't waxed prior in years, and she makes you feel so comfortable. My cootie pop is smooth as a baby. She is thorough and quick... in and out. I've been to many EWC locations in the bay area and I can confidently say that the waxers in this location are the best. I used to come to this locati...on before I moved to San Jose in 2019 and I had to go through so many waxers in other locations to find a waxer with good technique. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone whose technique is even close to the waxers in this location. I'm glad that I move back to Fremont and can visit this location again!! My go-to-waxer was Rachel and she was great (she is no longer with this location) and now Vilma is taking care of me. Vilma made my transition so easy. (Thanks Vilma!) Both are quick and very thorough without causing you any pain during the wax. I have much less ingrown hairs between waxes while I had so much problem with many waxers in other locations. If you're looking for a good waxer, please try this location. You won't regret it. :) Show more
This is my first brazilian wax and I just want to say VILMA IS AMAZING! I was kind of hesitant at first to make an appointment because I've never done... it but when I arrived at the place, the receptionists were friendly and nice. The vibe is really positive and then I met Vilma and she's very professional and very good. She almost made it painless (very tolerable) and because she chats with you, it also makes the whole process not uncomfortable. I'd say it's a great experience and I'm definitely coming back! My sister recommended I come to European Wax Center for any of my waxing needs. Not only are they very clean and precise, but their waxers are friendl...y and always make an effort to make you feel comfortable. My first time at European Wax Center a few years back my waxer was Vilma, and ever since I've continued to book my services with her. She is extremely nice and thoughful and extremely professional! Never a bad experience every time I come here. I have to admit, that I am always rescheduling my appointments, but they are so flexible it is absolute...ly amazing. Extremely unprofessional. I spent over $1000 on unlimited passes Brazilian Wax, Underarms, etc. I missed three appointments earlier in the year and wi...thout any warning or notification I lost my ability to book future appointments. No policies were explained or brought up at any given time. Now the only way to book if for me to walk in to get an appointment. My problem is I didn't have a warning of action being taken on me. I booked my last in June online (it's July now) and no missed appointments happened between then and now. Why not a courtesy call? An email (my preferred method of communication)? Nothing! I call and they won't let me book future appointments. Surprise! I ask to speak to a manager and no one is there. Review for Gemma T: 5 STARS FOR GEMMA! She is excellent! Went in for a Brazilian wax this morning. Professional, quick (15 mins), and did a great job. Very happy with the service. Review for Vilma: By far the worst experience with any European Wax Center employee. I got a Brazilian wax done by Vilma on April 21st 2017. She was unprofessional, rude, seemed annoyed and rough handling to the point she was hurting me despite letting her know. I endured only because I didn't want to get out of there half waxed. Good thing there's an option to pick waxers, I won't be booking her again. Show more
The short: Vilma is great I finally pulled the trigger and got my first professional waxing done. Appointments can be booked via phone or online. I ar...rived early and right after signing in, Vilma takes me to the back. I'm already at ease, though Vilma's relaxed demeanor keeps me relaxed. Yes, it is possible to go from relaxed to tense depending on the how the associate carries themselves. The room is clean and well-organized. Wax temperature may also be adjusted to preference. Can't remember, though I'm sure that the applicators/tools were new and/or sterile. Vilma is easy to talk to, explains the process, and just like that, the event is over. Went to this place two months ago but never have time to share my experience . Booking was easy. I had an appointment with VILMA for my Brazilian waxi...ng. According to many people's share here, she is professional. However, my experience was really bad. The wax was great but she did my wax rough. She put wax in a big area at a time. I felt really hurt and ask her to stop for a second but fail. It's like she got less than 15 minutes for me and she had to make everything done asap without concerning my feeling. To be clear, i was not late for the appointment at all. At the end of he waxing, there is not clean up. She just tell me to go Not sure why this is happening but don't feel I would go back again.
