There was lack of communication on her end. After I booked the appointment for my niece I sent her a picture to see if there will be any extra charge...s or anything- no response from her. No one is too busy to answer a text, no matter the profession. I originally booked 6 stitch braids for $135. Then when we arrived she said my niece should do the 6 feed in stitch braids and it’ll be $150 cause she a minor. Okay but when it was time to pick her up she upped the price to $160 w/o my knowledge. If she would’ve told me the exact price before I even arrived I would’ve canceled and found someone else. This is exactly why after I book an appointment I send the stylist a picture of the style I’m booking for so there will be no discrepancies. Communication prior to the appointment really makes a difference. $160 for 6 regular stitch braids not even freestyle for a 10 year old is a bit much.Overall, I never book her again. Show more

Hey Love, I apologize for your time, as you seem unsatisfied with the service after leaving the shop & picking your child up. I apologize for the update on your price change. As mentioned, you bought the child with hair still braided and needed me to take her hair down and blow dry it straight while she was tender headed & moved. Which took more time & required a lot of patience, you left before service started and returned later to dispute prices. And please keep in mind you asked me to create a design that's not on my booking site and that's considered freestyling love... i apologize for the experience with me and the shop because you allowed me to do a whole photoshoot and praised how you loved her hair, which I assumed you were happy & satisfied. But none the less, god bless you on your next hair journey & stylist.
