Dip Powder Manicure

The salon was clean but I am not happy at all with what I received. Originally prepaid online for dip powder and asked for extensions when I came in b...ut was told she did not know how to do extensions with dip. Then she asked if I wanted something else so she could do extensions and we agreed on gel. Halfway through, I asked if she was going to do extensions and she said no after we already chose something else specifically so I could get them. Not only did I not get what I asked for but it was such a terrible job that looks like I could have done it myself. Spots of my nails are missing polish and there is also polish on my fingers that you can see in the pictures. This was a waste of $40. Show more

I understand you arrived to your appointment late and required removal of the existing dip which was not booked. KK had appointments immediately before and after yours which presented a challenge to scheduling. Despite that, she was able to accommodate you.

My experience is always a good one when I come for a visit. I visited twice this past June, once for my birthday for gel tips and then again for my an...niversary for a vibrant combo (my fave)! I saw Allyson both times in June and she was great. Conversation had a nice flow, like being in town to visit a old friend and catching up. She maintained professionalism and focus on my nails. She offered to help me when I was a little indecisive about my color and she made sure to explain her recommendation (popular color, skin tone, etc) My nails come out nice and uniform. The polish is pretty and vibrant. With the gel mani I had a chip the following week and with the gel tips I did lose a nail at the end of the second week. When I voiced this with Allyson she let me know I should contact the shop in future because it may be a quick fix which I think is great! Overall I love that they are woman owned and have transitioned into being black owned as well! I was also able to secure some nail oil before leaving that smelled amazing. Allyson was sure to plug the salons other amazing services like eyebrow threading and waxing. They offer cute ethnic jewelry like bracelets and rings. Pretty sure I saw some colorful shoes on display as well and we can’t forget the awesome playlist on in the background that’s bring the vibe together. Love that they offer wifi info and the multiple forms of payment accepted. For price, location, and customer service it’s a win! Show more
