It is with deep regret that I am writing this review, as I have been a loyal customer of Fola’s Salon since 2023. However, I feel it is important to s...hare my experience so others can be aware and avoid a similar situation. I recently booked two services: • Eyebrow Waxing – Despite being listed as available for booking on their Booksy page, I was informed by the receptionist that the staff responsible for this service was unavailable. She mentioned that the specialist is only available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. • Haircut – I booked a "female haircut" for £25, but when I arrived, I was told that a haircut actually costs £40 and that a trim starts at £20. When I pointed out that the app clearly listed a "female haircut" for £25, they explained that the prices on Booksy were inaccurate and recommended booking through their website instead. I requested a refund for the deposit I had paid through the app, but they said they were unable to process it. Since I didn’t want to pay £40 for a service I had booked at £25, we ultimately settled on a price of £30. I have nothing against the salon—I have always been satisfied with their services, which is why I have been a returning customer for nearly two years. I even left a 5-star review in July 2023. However, I strongly believe they should be more transparent with their pricing to prevent customers from encountering unexpected charges. TL;DR: Eyebrow services may not always be available despite being listed on the app. The "female haircut" advertised for £25 is actually just a trim, and full haircuts cost more. Booking directly through their website is recommended for accurate pricing. Show more
