Absolutely brilliant service at the sensory barbershop. It was our first visit today and i saw a huge improvement in my little boy. He was really at e...ase, playing with all the toys before he had his hair cut. Still some tears with the hair clippers but definitely less traumatic than our usual hair cuts! Lots of patience and a chilled atmosphere. He even got some sweets at the end ☺️ thank you so much! I don't feel so nervous about his next hair cut now. Show more

Cannot put into words just how amazing this place is and how wonderful the hairdresser is! ❤️ Having a haircut in the past with my little boy has norm...ally been such a stressful and overwhelming experience with him ending up having to leave with no haircut. However, at the Sensory Barbershop yesterday my son was shown so much patience and the lovely hairdresser was so kind and free from judgement and showed so much patience and perseverence with my son. He left with a beautiful haircut! And a happy mum and dad. Thank you! Show more

My son loves his visits to The Sensory Barbershop. It’s like a day out to him. He won’t let anyone else cut his hair but will happily stand and let Ka...th do it. She remembers what he likes to watch then listens and engages with him as he bombards her with facts about it. Despite the fact that he’s standing up and is wriggling throughout he still leaves with a perfect haircut. Show more

Having my little boys hair cut has always been a struggle, not even wanting his hair brushed or combed and always ending in tears and meltdowns. Today..., he came here for the very first time and Katherine was so patient with him building trust and rapport and he let her comb and cut his hair without one single tear shed. Fantastic. Clean, fresh, spacious...fantastic distraction toys and TV. Katherine brilliant, professional, and so good with the little un. He hates hai...r being combed, touched etc. Asked his favorite cartoons...dinosaurs, on TV...i held a dinosaur toy...he struggled and cried...Kath not phased. I spoke to him and held him...loosely...but TV distracted him...great cut. Off to play with toys...his mum thought a bit more off...so it was cut as he played. Will be returning. Mickey Show more
