I'm in my early 40s and had been struggling to style my hair in the mornings for quite a while. My hair is now quite grey and the hairline is starting... to recede, so the hairstyle I had from my previous barber was probably more suited to a younger man's hair honestly! I booked an appointment for a restyle with Romain at Seven Garcons based upon the positive reviews from other customers online. The service from Romain was exactly what I was looking for. I had plenty of time to consult with Romain about the style I had in mind. Romain is obviously very experienced, and understood that the hair needed to be styled in the direction of growth in order to get the more natural look that I was going for. Romain also has the skill to perform a more traditional scissor cut short back and sides, which requires a lot less styling in the mornings and should grow back more naturally. Seven Garcons also wash the hair before and after cutting as part of the service. This is an essential part of the job of a true stylist, and ensures the customer is satisfied with the finished result. A lot of barbers will simply trim down whatever style you come into the shop with, which often means the hair looks good when freshly cut but grows out and starts to look rough quite quickly. I'm planning to return to Seven Garcons after 4 weeks, and hopefully on a regular basis after that to maintain the style Romain has created for me.
