First visit, my barber of 6 years didn’t have any workable availability. Always feels a bit nerve wracking testing out a new barber. I chose here on ...the basis of a stylish looking website with no photos of men with lines shaved into their head. It’s a slightly off-beat location, but the barbershop is clean, stylish, and relaxing with classical music playing. Tools are neatly laid out on the marble worktops. The vintage barber chairs are high quality. Attention to detail is obvious. The cut, done almost entirely with scissors, was excellent, as was the beard trim which showed the same attention to detail as the shop. It was the manager, Romain, looking after me, but from discussion about staffing I could tell he was very selective in who he hires, so I’d feel pretty confident in going back and using any of his team. Finally, I thought the price felt very fair. I’m Richmond based and the area is crying out for a decent barbershop, which feels strange given the demographic. Whilst neither Hammersmith or Putney are too much of a hike, if a 7 Garçons opened in Richmond I would expect it to do very well indeed. Show more
