      Start with a hot Towel to soften the skin Ten minute facial with steamer whilst using a facial scrub Facial softener will be applied to the beard or skin Facial massage to help with the skin elasticity with a facial scrub to unblock the pores and blackheads (facial steamer will be running during this element for 5 minutes with the facial scrub on the face) The skin will be cleansed and refreshed Steamer will then be applied for 5 further minutes to fully cleanse the skin with aromatic oils Once cleansed, a facial massage will take place Skin will be moisturised After shave will then be applied to the skin A hot towel will then be applied with the after shave scent to complete the full relaxation As above – with a peel off pore penetrating face mask (add £4 for full face or £3 for T-Zone)

The hairdressing was good but the only appointments I could get were 15-20 mins ahead which wasn’t particularly convenient planning wise. I don’t know... if that is the norm now. Show more

Hi. You can walk in and get a cut - you don't have to book. And you can book 12 months in advance too. The Booksy app will only allow you to book at least 15 minutes ahead of when the appointment is due.  This has always been the way with Booksy and we cannot change it.

Everytime my son is due a hair cut we use this barbers and everytime he leaves super happy as do i. My son has struggled with many barbers before but ...no matter who cuts his hair he never has an issue as each barber always communicates with him while having his hair cut and making sure he is comfortable. I have been bringing my Autistic son here for about 2 years now and for the first time today, sat with no tears and just said the haircut tickled. Rac...hel and Tara were very supportive and engaged with my son throughout making it a very calm environment. Will continue to bring him to the Hairy Bear. Today was our fourth haircut with Martin for my son who has additional needs. When we first came to Martin, he would have a meltdown throughout the wh...ole appointment and was so distressed but Martin has been so patient with him and today we had his first haircut with no tears! This is such a huge milestone for him and wouldn't have been possible without Martin's kindness and patience. I can't recommend him highly enough for children with additional needs. Show more

We booked The Hairy Bear Maidstone for our 1 year old boys first haircut after researching and reading reviews that Martin is great with kids. Our li...ttle one was crying throughout the whole appointment, but Martin, clearly used to this was great, did a great job. He made me feel comfortable too, in a normally distressing situation, where your little one is crying. I booked with Martyn as I’ve wanted to try and stick with the same person for my little boy as his hair is awkward to cut and wanted someone to get to... know his hair. But without discussion or warning I get a new guy. Possibly an apprentice. I tried to be polite and go with it. And just keep saying I don’t want much off his fringe because of his thin hair and has a cow lick. Wanted it Just above his eyes. As last time it was cut too short and took months to grow back. And again it was cut too short! I don’t know much clearer I needed to be.. I won’t be going back. Which is a same! As they are really good with kids Show more

The Hairy Bear has decent barbers at very reasonable prices and the... two I've had cut my hair have been very lovely indeed.
