Daizy Neck, Back & Shoulder Massage + Add Tension Relieving Head Massage

I've been seeing Laura for massages for around 4 years now when it was Mellimo and I love her and her massages so much. She is such a warm and beautif...ul person, and a huge asset to the salon. But I felt a little disappointed yesterday as I felt my treatment was a bit rushed. Quite often Laura is on her own, yesterday there was another beautician in, but it seemed everything still fell to Laura to deal with. When i arrived she was just finishing with the client before me, so had to see to her payment and rebook of another appointment. She then had to get the room ready again for me. I was then on the bed waiting for a good 5/10mins whilst she saw to enquiries and informing someone about using the different entrance that day. It then felt as if my head massage add on was cut short as it didn't seem to last very long at all and her next client was waiting, as when I came out the room, she was already sat starting her nail appointment. From arrival to actually having the treatment and leaving, I was in and out in less than an hour, including all the waiting time. So this review is not a reflection on Laura because she's fabulous at what she does, but perhaps appointment times are available to be booked too close together for her to welcome clients with the room already ready, have time for carrying out the full treatment and then time to prepare for the next client after we've gone. I felt for her that she seemed under pressure (although did her very best not to show it) and didn't even have chance to grab a drink or food for herself due to such tight timings between clients. The salon itself felt a lot more cluttered too as there is an extra shelving unit, another nail table added and there was a bed set up in the middle of the nail/reception area. The music in that area also drowned out the relaxing music in the room I was in, as well as the other therapist/clients talking and laughing really loudly. It wasn't as relaxed experience as usual, which yesterday I really needed. ETA: I've changed my original 3 star review to 5, after receiving phone calls and messages to discuss my visit with me personally and have really taken the feedback on board in such a professional way. Hi Claire, I am ever so sorry that you were disappointed this week. As much as we try to limit disruption, there we a few mishaps in the salon on the day and I am so sorry that these impacted your experience. We appreciate all feedback and have spoken as a team about this. Our salon door was damaged due to an attempted break in this week and we only have access from the back until it is repaired. The furniture that is slightly in the way holds a lot of our resources and I’m so sorry to our clients for the inconveniece. The additional nail desk is to accommodate the business we are expecting over the festive period after which we hope we can plan to maximise the space we have. The couch had been laid out to accommodate a last minute client in need of a treatment before her holiday - we promise it’s not a permanent feature! Our staff work on flexible contracts that allow them to choose the hours that they wish to work around their busy lives, please be assured that working time is directed by the therapists - if they are not taking breaks between clients, this is entirely at their discretion and something that I have encouraged them to consider, for their own wellbeing. I appreciate all of your very valid points and I sincerely hope that your next visit will be as pleasant as you’ve been accustomed to.
