Unbelievably impressed with all the staff at Pictures of Lily. My daughter (9 years & with ASD) wanted her ears pierced - we visited Pictures of Lily ...for her to see where she would come for this - all the staff were so kind in explaining to her the process & getting her appointment booked. On appointment day she came to have her lobes pierced & everyone was absolutely INCREDIBLE!All of the staff made us feel so welcome & comfortable.  The process was explained clearly & my daughter was able to ask questions & was in control of how quickly the process progressed. Thank you so much for making her feel so brilliant & welcome as well as for you all the staff being so wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, or more attentive staff. Show more

MULTIPLE PIERCINGS (4 maximum)

I visited Pictures of Lily for the first time two weeks ago to have 3 cartilage ear piercings done. I’d never been to this particular studio before so... had no preconceived ideas. Wow, well can I say? I was looked after by Bex, Charlie and then Steph from the moment I arrived – Bex welcomed me and really helped me to understand the different types of jewellery on offer and gave a really good and expert insight into what is suitable for the type of piercings I was after, why I should wait a good few months before getting a rook piercing in my other ear…and so on. Then Charlie gave some superbly friendly and helpful styling advice of which pieces of jewellery would work and in which order in my ear. I was particularly impressed with Charlie’s enthusiasm – this really rubbed off on me too which was great! Charlie also looked after me and made me feel quite at home whilst I was waiting for my appt. The waiting area was equally impressive. I have never seen such a thoughtful array of bowls of grapes, plums, other fruit, lovely books to read, lovely decor to look at in a waiting area – anywhere….it was lovely! I can see that this business prides itself in client care and attention to detail – so much thought is clearly given to client experience. My positive experience did not end there. I then had the absolute pleasure of meeting Steph who did my 3 x piercings. Now I am knocking on the door of 40 and already various piercings (have had even more in my time that I have had to wave goodbye to over the years due to my need to work in office jobs, sigh), however, in all of my 2+ decades of piercing and tattoo studio experiences, I have never ever had such a thoughtful consultation with a piercing artist as I did with Steph. She went to really fabulous and considerate lengths to explain what placements could work, but also asked me for my opinion too. She also fully explained healing and various other points that no one had ever taken the time to explain to me before in any previous piercing appointment (at other salons years past). I am gutted that I now realise I made such poor studio choices in the past, however I am so pleased that I have now found this studio and its incredibly friendly, professional and gifted staff who really care about their clients. My experience was so great, that all the facets from my visit came together to actually really substantially boost my mood and dopamine levels in the days that followed! Thank you all! I will be back (very soon!) and will recommend to all! Show more
