I recently had to find a new lash tech and cancel my latest appointment with Mariela because she changed the products she was using for cheaper withou...t my consent or knowledge. That was just the icing on the cake to everything I have experienced. She has a horrible attitude and exudes an immature attitude especially for somebody in the customer service industry. Also, needs improvement on business and is very inconsistent with scheduling will cancel on you very last minute 1:30 AM to be exact the appointment was at 9 am. This has happened before as well. Poor time management and doesn’t really like feedback from the client. Will change products and prices inconsistently without notifying client. Price incline had increased 3 times in just one month. Would be understandable if she was working for her own shop, but she’s working from her own home . Needs to work on business aspect or hire a team that can help her become organized with time management and customer service, because that is very much lacking. If a service provider cancels on your appointment last minute courtesy and having customer service skills are essential in the service industry. Will be switching to a new lash tech with the inconsistency as of late. In the service industry canceling appointments regularly isn’t professional at all. If you’re looking for a consistent lash tech that has been established and experience, the same standards we are held to as clients should be reflected on the service provider. For example if you charge a late fee and your a service provider canceling last minute on client, a good business owner knows that you offer a discounted rate for canceling on a client, but no if anything she was upset I even asked. She’s definitely biting off more than she can chew and maybe owning a business isn’t for everyone. Show more

* I'd just like to add before anyone reads this I have had Dana Price as a client since November, I am now receiving this review because I have blocked her from booking with me* 1. I had a 2 degree burn on my hand from cooking a meal, I notified you before anyone else. Yes it was at 1AM, but you expect absolute perfection out of me when you couldn't checked your phone in the morning ? 2. I am an 18 college student ! I have books to pay for, meals to pay for, insurance to pay for, transportation to pay for. I am living in the same economy as you. My prices were WAY too low; 2% revenue, that wouldn't last me a week, with an increasing clientele. My prices have also only increased 2, (45-> 60->70) from NOVEMBER-JANUARY. This is my only source of income in a very competitive industry, & Dana Price has shown 0 compassion at all after countless times of reiterating my circumstances. 3. I didn’t even cancel our appointmentl when I was bed ridden, you bargained in my house past my farther, and left with a set of lashes you loved. 4. I hace been using Vava Lashes since November, Lonris Adhesive, BL Lash Bonder & Primer since I was a beginner in August. You’re 1 in 32 clients who’s ever had anything bad to say about me, and it’s because you can no longer receive service from me 😂.
