Service was horrible, asked for a silk press, burnt my scalp but at the same time didn’t completely straighten my hair at the top so I don’t know what... she was burning, my hair is still frizzy on the top, trimmed my hair without me asking for it and then charged me, I actually asked if I needed to and she said yes and just started trimming when I was planning to trim it at home since I knew she would charge I hate my hair the two curls she did in the front were giving Kat Williams, she was also rushing with my hair even though I had a set appointment, she did not take her time which is why my hair looks like ass, I want a refund and I will never be coming back here again, if this silk press last less then two days I will be back and you will do my hair the right way free of charge Show more

However, I must admit that your review left me quite confused and surprised, as it contains several inaccuracies. I feel it is important to provide clarity to protect my business and ensure future clients have an accurate understanding of the situation. During your appointment, you expressed sensitivity to heat while I was using the flat iron, which I accommodated to the best of my ability, ensuring you were not burned. This was also confirmed during a follow-up conversation with your sister. Regarding the trim, I specifically asked whether you wanted one. You asked for my professional opinion, and I pointed out the split ends and damage from not having had a trim in years. After showing you the affected areas, you consented to the trim, requesting that I not take off too much so you could maintain length for your style. At the conclusion of your service, I checked to ensure you were happy with the results, and you confirmed that you were. Your sister, who also saw your hair, expressed that she liked it as well. Given this, I was genuinely surprised to read your review. While I understand that it is impossible to please everyone, I strive to provide the best service to all my clients. After learning from your sister that you are 17 and she was the one paying for the service, I refunded the cost of the trim as a gesture of g

Sajatha was AMAZING. I visited Orlando for a birthday trip from NYC and didn't have the time to get my locs redone before getting down to Orlando. So..., I decided I would get my hair done while on vacation. That decision was a risky one since you NEVER know who might be in your head, and if you don't like their work, you'll be stuck with it throughout your vacation. Well, I did a BUNCH of research and then called Saj directly with my questions. She seemed very straightforward and honest over the phone, so I decided to book and take the trip to meet her in person, see the salon, and possibly get my services done. Saj had to let me in, and the FIRST thing she did was greet me warmly. The environment was clean, nice-looking, smelled great, and was comfortable to be in. Saj was finishing up a client before meeting with me. I forgot to mention that not only was Saj super damn fast with that client, she also was able to multitask and get my locs detoxed. While they were detoxing, we had a consultation about the state of my locs. She informed me that the style I originally wanted to get, which would actually cost me MORE to get done, wouldn't look right with my current locs. She showed me on a stylist head what my locs would end up looking like if I decided to do what I originally wanted to do. I put trust in her and decided to get what she recommended, and I'm SO damn glad I did. Not only did she give me a reasonable price for all that she did, but this woman ALSO helped me get down the road to the store since she was heading in that direction anyway. You better BELIEVE I tipped well! TEN OUT OF TEN STARS would DEFINITELY recommend! And next time I'm going to Orlando? I won't get my hair done beforehand ON PURPOSE just to see her, lol. My hair came out silky pressed but I was charged up charges I had refused bc I had only budgeted $75-85. My hair was already washed and clean and I di...dn’t want a trim yet I was pushed to have those additional services done bc it *had* to be done. I had came in on time 10 minutes before my appointment and she arrived 30 mins late which is fine but communicate next time if you know you’re going to be late. I don’t feel my time or money was respected at all. Definitely won’t be coming back and will stick w my silk press gyal @braidsbyjayyllc who’s website shows silk press pricing based on length and doesn’t push services on you without mentioning pricing till the end. @braidsbyjayyllc charges $80 for my length and it INCLUDES a trim. I came in not wanting a wash or trim only the $75 silk press and stylist up charged $55 wanting $130 for the whole service when I refused a trim and wash…. She didn’t take her making me wait and arriving extremely late into consideration or that this was my first time seeing her… and it’s crazy how money hungry and grimy ppl are… Horrible first impression but I kept it cordial, this was my first time here and it is now my last. I’m glad she has other ppl keeping her in business and I hope she cherishes keeping clientele over finessing ppl for everything they got. First, let me say thank you for taking the time out to leave us a review. We are really sorry that you were not completely satisfied with my service today. It is indeed true that you got to the salon on time for your appointment. However, your hair started immediately as you walked through the door. Even though I was not at the salon directly when you arrived, my assistant was there ready and waiting to start your service on arrival. Even upon my arrival, your preping service was still not fully completed. It is indeed true that you stated that you already shampoo your hair beforehand hand. However, our policy as it relates to silk press is that we have to freshly shampoo the hair with our products for the safety of your hair. Our prices varies depending on the length and volume of your hair. Your hair was mid back (below bra length) and thick in volume. Also to add I recommended a thrim given the significant amount of split ends you had, which you agreed to, and you are now saying you were forced to get it done? Once again, I am really sorry that you were not fully satisfied with your experience. we will continue to try our best to provide the best possible service to please our future clients.
