Folks, pay attention to her responses to negative reviews. The indignation and lack of accountability as she speaks in the third person. Nothing less ...than ratchet and unprofessional. I have to say this was the worst salon experience I’ve ever had. I booked my appointment weeks in advance, requesting the same service I had booked a month prior (first visit -waited over an hour) requesting in the notes that I’d like my twist to look slightly longer and a little more full. Let her know she could book a different service if it was required. I arrived at my appointment on time but had to wait almost an hour before getting into her chair. After washing and blow drying my hair, she tells me that she doesn’t have the hair she needs to do my hair and asked me to come back the next day at 1 o’clock.I graciously leave (hair not styled) and arrived the next day at 1 o’clock only to find that she has two people ahead of me. I remind her that I have a flight at 6:30 pm. She tells me she’ll get me out on time as I wait two hours for service. While in her chair she tells me the real reason she rescheduled me for that day was because she was dealing with depression over her divorce and didn’t feel like working. She told me she went home and spent the rest of the day in bed. Once she starts on me she tells me that she has a 4 o’clock that she has to get in and out. Long story short - I end up with her only completing 60% of my braids she tried to disguise it so that I can go on my trip, but it was awful, she apologizes and says she’ll do my hair when I return Monday at 6:30. I paid her and tipped her proactively. She ghost me Monday only answering the phone after I call her from a different number. She then acts like it’s misunderstanding and promises to do it the next day at noon. She then ghost me again. She refused to return any part of my money. If you’re a new client don’t bother. Most of her good reviews are from repeated existing clients - she’ll make you pay “your dues” to be treated with any sort of courtesy. And that sort of treatment from a mediocre stylist is NOTHING I’m interested in. Show more

It breaks my heart to say this. I've been a customer for 4 years of Tee Sharnese since before she was a salon owner. Every salon she went to I went to.... I have entrusted her with my locs over these past years but as of recently, I cannot have her as my loctician anymore. I booked an appointment on 10/8. The morning of the appointment she texted me to let me know that she was going to push my appointment back 30 minutes. That was fine with me. Then she let me know that she was going to cancel me and I was free to reschedule. Even though I had many plans for the week ahead, I made time for my hair to get done. Today, 10/12 is when I scheduled my appointment to get my hair redone. I got a notification this morning letting me know that my appointment had been canceled, once again. This is very unprofessional, and even if I only come once every few months I am still a client. I will be finding another loctician. Show more
