I booked my son and husband because he had availability and I think he is a good barber. However, this is not the first time but the second time that ...he decided it was okay to cut my sons longer hair off without permission. I stop going to him a few years ago because he made comments the first few appointments about how I should let him cut it if he wants too and my husband should be taking him to the shop. On my third appointment I want to say is when he asked me AGAIN and I said he can TRIM the top and before I noticed he cut his hair extremely low. I was livid and I never went back & booked. My sons usual barber who gives him only a taper was unavailable. So I decided to book boys TAPER ONLY (my sons graduation is this weekend so I was in a rush). My husband was aware before taking my son what happened before & promised to be specific. I told him to show the photo and say Taper only & that’s what I was informed my husband said & did. Until he looked up and saw him chopping my sons hair with scissors. I knew something was wrong after my husband called me & I went upstairs and he had cut his hair short. I yelled “ you gotta be kidding me” & Sidney wouldn’t look up. I questioned him after the cut only to be told he thought my husband wanted the photo of the boy with short hair despite his word Taper and our booking & my 6 year old said he wanted it short. He’s a child he should check with his parents first. Also get clarity before he starts chopping longer hair. Insult to injury ,I am unable to cancel his mini twist appointment and will also be charged full price. I honestly feel this is intentional & Sidney has his own personal views imposed upon my family & boys hair based on comments in the past. I won’t be returning & he’s lucky If I just let this go again. Show more

Wow very interesting your husband walked in showed me a picture and said exactly that’s what you ” the mother wanted “ then I proceeded to cut according to the picture, I was shown which was not a just a tape but anan actual blow out haircut please show pictures. Then showed the son the picture in which he implied yes i want that very happily. I began his service. Period he received an awesome cut which he likes. All else is between you and your husband I’m sorry to say!!!
