Ian is a licensed massage therapist trained in several modalities including but not limited to, deep tissue, trigger point, active release therapy, sports massage, and myofascial release. With a lifetime of experience in competitive sports, currently competing as a semi-professional soccer player, Ian has experienced a number of injuries and a variety of rehab processes. In the journey through athletics and studying the movement and strengthening of the human body, Ian has learned which areas of the body will typically require the most attention in order to facilitate the greatest changes for different people. Ian's approach to massage is efficient and thorough, after communicating with the client about how they are feeling and what they would like to achieve during the session, every step of the process is implemented to achieve those goals. This may include but is not limited to stretching, trigger pointing, active release techniques, cupping, heating, utilizing essential oils. The sessions will typically require a level of active participation from the client in order to work together towards finding the perfect pressure and to facilitate the active release techniques. Ian's goal is always to implement the greatest positive change in the time that you work together.
