I am SUPER happy that I made an appointment for my hair here. I recently moved to Newark and was a bit nervous to find a new hair salon. I always look... at reviews/stars when trying out a new place. I decided to try this salon because of all of the positive feedback I read. Maricela was so sweet and made me feel comfortable in her salon. I originally made an appointment for a haircut but out of curiosity I showed her a picture of blue hair to see if she could recreate the style it had. She told me she could and,if I wanted to, I could have it done right then and there. I decided to take the plunge and I LOVE it! It’s exactly what I wanted. Maricela was very gentle with my hair and very attentive. Can’t wait to go back! Show more

Maricela (the owner) was very sweet. She did spend ample amount of time to color correct, haircut and style my hair (approx. 2 hours). I wanted to get... keratin as well but she informed me that it can damage my hair after coloring so its better to wait couple of months before I get this done! That shows she really cares for your hair. Definitely recommend her for hair services. Charges were also reasonable! Show more
I've been seeing Marisela for a few years now. She's amazing, my favorite thing about her is she's honest and always gives good input on your hair. Ma...risela is sweet, friendly, and warm. She makes me and my daughter feel welcomed and comfortable at every appointment. Marisela is very meticulous and pays attention to details. Stylish Salon has outstanding customer service and delivers a happy, clean and bright environment. The ambiance here is fun and upbeat at the same time quite relaxing. I have come to this Salon for the last couple of years. Claudia and all the ladies are great except for the owner. I booked an appointment with Marice...la "the owner", On the day of my appointment she overbooked herself, I was helped by 3 other ladies while Maricela juggled other customers. Needless to say I was surprised when she double charged me. I will never let her work on my hair. Make her commit to a price before she does anything. Show more
