Really disappointed with my experience of getting my nails done by Casey, I went in and got gel nails done from having gotten them a few times before ...they always lasted me a good while but an hour of leaving the appointment 2 had already chipped, a few hours later and 5 nails were chipped, next day every nail was chipped. So toes and hands both destroyed.This made no sense to me as I take extra caution after having my nails done and I DO NOT bite my nails or pick at them.Casey denied this being her fault as my nails were “100% fine when leaving the appointment”. Although gel nails should be lasting over 24 hours at least..She said she would try to fix them on Sunday and then told me she couldn’t, when I asked for a refund she said no . Even though she said it’s happened because my nails were too thin and weak at the top and she didn’t file them short enough( I just assumed the nail tech knew how much to file off my nails and not keep weak nail on) she did not ask me how short or long I wanted them, only what colour. Lack of communication from the start.i don’t get my nails done often and this has made me not want to get them done again. Normal nail varnish has lasted longer on me.Not the way to make a client ever return. £40 wasted and now have to pay someone else to remove them. I should have listened to the other bad reviews but tried to look past them, complete scam Show more

you paid £40 for nails & toes. These have quite clearly been picked/peeled or bitten, The client booked a gel polish and when i asked what length and shape she did not disclose she wanted to change anything before we started and i could not have done BIAB as discussed in messages as it is a whole different service which you did not book and i did not have time as i was back to back with clients. nails were perfectly fine when leaving my chair as i have pictures before and afters to cover my own back. I have never ever had a clients gel polish chip and look like that it is impossible for them to not have been touched and i will not be refunding as i put my time and effort and treated you with care like every client and someone else could of had that appointment

Unfortunately there isn’t much positive I can say given that due to bad time management and communication issues my appointment couldn’t go ahead. Upo...n arriving with 15 minutes until my appointment started I wasn’t able to find the store as there are no clear instructions, granted the store being difficult find is not Casey’s fault. What is, is that when I did text after ten minutes of trying to find the shop, I received a response four minutes before my appointment was due to start not only with directions but asking me to delay 45 minutes (despite the fact I was in the centre) as another customer had taken longer than expected, this was the first communication of this. While this was annoying I figured I had paid £10 deposit a few days before and had made my way down I could wait 45 minutes. Twenty minutes later I received another text asking me if this was ok as I hadn’t confirmed that it was thinking my lack of response conveyed that it was. Upon saying yes I would be there at 4, I was then asked to further delay until 4.30 as still these “unexpected nails” were taking even longer than expected. Therefore I would be waiting 1hr 15mins beyond the original appointment time. This is totally unacceptable and while I did receive an apology I could not continue on with this appointment. Not only did I have plans for after my original appointment but I feared I would get to half four and be told to wait until 5 and so on and so on. I let Casey know that this didn’t suit as I had plans and that I would have to cancel. In return I received a message telling me that it would have been a two hour appointment anyway (which seems to ignore than 17.15 and 18.30 are two very different times and the fact that if appointments took two hours then somebody had already eaten into a hour and half of mine and therefore there was no telling if mine would also take more than 2hrs). Casey did offer to reschedule however i have no confidence that the same issue would not happen again tomorrow. After I explained that I would not be rescheduling I have not received another message, I have waited several hours and there has been no attempt to return or even offer to return the deposit despite the fact that I was not the one who rearranged and only had to cancel due to the two attempts one of which I was willing to accommodate. Totally unprofessional!!! Casey did a ‘no show’ at my scheduled appointment. If you want a long-term tech, don’t go to Casey. She claims she wants rel...iable clientele but she cancels whilst you are awaiting her in the salon. She was aware I am committed client looking a reliable long-term tech. Appointment booked over two weeks in advance. Casey texted that day asking to move my appointment but stated if I couldn’t reply by 2pm she would still take me at my appointment time. I was at work. Could not reply. I showed up the appointment to find out she went home and rescheduled (as I was sitting in the salon) on the app for the next day. The text I received implied my appointment stood and there was no emergency if she was willing to keep to my time. The next day I received many a defensive and rude text blaming fear of no shows and telling me look elsewhere - I didn’t need to be told!!! No way to run any business childcare and taxi excuses or not!!! Show more
