From the moment I walked through the door, Laura made me feel completely at ease. She genuinely gets curls – and not just in a general sense – she understands the different textures, curl patterns and how they behave on an individual level. The appointment started with a really informative consultation where we talked about my current routine, curl goals, and problem areas. Laura was so knowledgeable and didn’t rush a single thing. She explained everything in detail, which I appreciated so much – especially when you’ve been winging your curly routine for years! The demo was a total game-changer. Laura walked me through a full wash and style step-by-step, showing how to apply products properly and how to encourage curl clumping and definition. She didn’t just do it for me – she taught me how to do it myself. I came away with techniques that I’ve already started using at home with brilliant results. And the cut – WOW. I’ve never had a cut tailored to my curls like this before. Laura dry-cut each curl individually, shaping everything to work with the natural flow of my hair. It felt like a bespoke service from start to finish and the end result was honestly the best shape and bounce I’ve ever had. My curls feel lighter, more defined, and so much healthier. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and genuine care.
