I walked into her salon feeling ugly, anxious, and very emotional. I had my heart set on a specific pixie cut, but due to the condition and length of ...my hair, it wasn’t fully possible. Despite that, she worked with what I had and still gave me a beautiful pixie that I truly love. She also took the time to give me helpful advice for my hair’s health and growth, especially since I struggle with dryness, breakage, and a receding hairline. Growing up being bullied, especially about my hair, I’ve always felt self-conscious—so this was a big step for me. She treated me with so much patience and kindness, and I never once felt judged or uncomfortable in her chair. That means everything to me. I’ve had bad experiences before where I felt like I was being talked about or laughed at—but not here. She truly made me feel safe and seen. I may have cried during the appointment (I’m definitely a crybaby), but it was all part of the healing process for me. She didn’t make me feel embarrassed—only supported. I left feeling more confident and beautiful than I have in a long time. I just moved to the area, and I’m so thankful I stumbled upon her Booksy page. I don’t see myself going to anyone else.
