I took my son for the first time and I had no problem with my experience…as a woman I hate being in barber shops but since my husband worked I had to ...take our son but I wasn’t uncomfortable Kobe was very respectful and well mannered. As far as the cut my son loves it he didn’t want locs anymore so after we cut them out he was nervous about being “bald” lol but he had so much confidence after the cut! Thank you! Show more

The owner/barber was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNREASONABLE (If he's not repentant pride will destroy him and everything he's built). My son's cut was nice b...ut the customer service was horrible. I made an appointment for my son. The appointment was at 1:30pm I dropped my son of at 1:22pm. At 2:10pm when I returned he was sitting on the floor waiting his turn. I was told by the barber very aggressively "It's 3 people in front of him and they have an appointment so he has to wait his turn. They booked 3 at 1 time." My son called me at 4:30pm when he finished getting his haircut. Online the appointment duration says 25 minutes. It took 3 hours and my son has locs at the top! I can understand being delayed and overbooked by 1 or 2 appointments but I do not understand allowing customers to book MULTIPLE appointments for 1 slot and NOT COMMUNICATING this upfront to set a proper expectation. My phone number was included with my 50% deposit and I texted to inquire about them taking cards. He could've easily responded with "I'm running 2 appointment behind" or SOMETHING. When I spoke to the Barber after the appointment to ask for some sort of compensation/discount/credit for the EXTREME DELAY (thinking he had good customer service as his IG page and booking site indicates), he told me that "I am not giving you anything ma'am! You need to understand that it is back to school and I am considering everyone so there is going to be delays. If this was a regular day...but it's back to school so you need to understand." After he finished his rant, I proceeded to speak about him allowing people to book multiple appointments in one slot and NOT COMMUNICATING the length of the wait upfront, he interrupted me saying "I don't have time. Just don't book no more!" and got off the phone. VERY RUDE! WHAT ABOUT MY TIME and MY SON'S TIME? WE CAN'T GET OUR TIME BACK! Now he has lost two great tipping customers over trying to make a quick bag (he was also my barber). #PissPoorCustomerService Show more
