I had my very first navel piercing done by Jodie at Vivid Ink Studio Birmingham, and the whole experience was chef’s kiss! 💫 The staff were really, r...eally nice, and Jodie was so lovely ,she made me feel completely at ease even though it was my first time. She guided me through everything, helped me choose my jewelry, and was super supportive. The studio environment was clean, professional, and welcoming, and I could see that all the tools were properly sterilized. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first belly piercing. Highly recommend! Show more

Piercing Check up

I came here about two weeks ago to get my rook downsized as I thought the 10mm bar was irritating it. Initially, my experience was going great. Jodie ...tried to insert a bar that was a couple mm shorter - here's where my experience started plummeting. As she was trying to put the bar in, her tools were stabbing at the top piercing hole. In this moment, I thought "Okay, maybe it's just because it's irritated. I can get through this." After what felt like years of her trying to get the top piercing ball on, my piercing started to swell up like crazy. She ended up having to take the bar out and insert a bar that was only 1mm or 2mm shorter. This was a much quicker insert and screw on thankfully. I was happy the piercing was finally downsized; I also didn't blame her much for this experience as I know piercings can be fiddly. However, yesterday before going to bed, I had a look at my piercings and noticed the top ball had unscrewed itself and fallen off. Now, I wouldn't immediately blame the piercer for this issue if the same hasn't happened to my girlfriend with her eyebrow piercing, a couple of months after she had it pierced by Jodie. I would not recommend getting pierced by Jodie (or for at least any piercing that requires a curved barbell), unless you want the piercing balls to fall out!!! Show more
