Skin Test
New Clients: A skin test must be had for all treatments. A skin test must be booked in for at least 48hrs before your treatment. Any treatments that have been booked without a skin test will not be able to go ahead and will be cancelled. It is your responsibility to book in for a patch test, and if you turn up to your treatment having not had a patch test a cancellation fee will be charged and your appointment cancelled. Existing Clients: If you have not had a treatment carried out with me in the last 6 months you will need a new patch test. This is the signature Brows by Hollie treatment. Similar to a HD Brow, this treatment is made up several different elements to give the ultimate defined brows. A combination of hair removal methods, waxing, threading, tweezing are used. Paired with the application of a custom blended hybrid tint that will stain the skin for up to 10 days and will last up to 6 weeks on hairs. Brow lamination is treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. It’s a pain-free, non-permanent brow treatment to create the perfect brows. Brow lamination can keep the brows in their desired shape for up to eight weeks with immediate results. This treatment teamed with a hybrid tint is the perfect combination for long lasting, full, fluffy brows. Hybrid tint stains the skin - perfect for covering any sparse areas and can last up to 10 days on the skin and 6 weeks on the hairs. Brow Lamination can only be carried out every 8-10 weeks depending on hair growth and no sooner! This is to minimise any risks of over processing, a lamination maintenance service should be booked if sooner than 8 weeks.£45.001h

Hi Sarah, I’m sorry to hear you feel disappointed with your experience. The mark shown in your photo is from the tint used during the patch test. This is completely normal and can leave a temporary stain on the skin, which typically fades within a couple of days. Regarding the door, it had been left open by my previous client and I was unaware of this at the time. Had the buzzer been pressed, I would have come straight to the door to greet you. I would also like to clarify that I am the owner and only person working in the salon. As you were a new client to me, I’m not sure what you mean by seeing a different person previously.
