Blowdry Long/ Thick Hair

Booked an appointment just over 2 weeks before I needed it. It was a 6:30am appointment on a Monday as I had a wedding 2 hours away at 11am. This left... me with plenty of time. The day before they asked to charge £10 for travel and I said that’s absolutely fine. On the day at 6:27am they emailed to say the therapist would be 15 mins late. At 6:56am I emailed back and said this was fine but they were now almost 30 mins late. They replied again and said the therapist would be 10 more mins. The therapist then did arrive 40 minutes late and apologised and said they were assigned it the night before and live an hour away and did not realise I lived so far from them and got lost. At the end of the appointment I had £10 cash and gave this and specified it was for travel. I checked my card later on and realised I had been charged a £10 travel fee. I emailed as soon as I realised this and explained I gave £10 cash as it was not a tip for a 40 minute late appointment so could I have this refunded. They agreed and yet it still has not been almost a week after I asked. It’s a shame as the actual appointment and hair went smoothly and looked wonderful on the day, I just wouldn’t book again as being 40 minutes late is so unacceptable especially when booked in advance. Hi Hannah, We are very sorry to hear that the therapist was late. We had highlighted to the therapist that it was an early morning appointment and that they needed to be on time. However, we cannot control if a therapist is late to an appointment. The £10.00 travel fee we had emailed you and stated that we will charge it onto your booking from our end. We did not say that our therapist would need to be paid this in person. Perhaps the therapist did not see the email we had sent them clearly stating that we will charge the client the travel fee and then pay this to them when we pay them for the booking. We are pleased that the appointment went smoothly and that your hair looked wonderful. This is a very positive outcome from this appointment!. Thank you for booking with us!.
